Professional Interests: Dr. Michael Daniel has a special interest in Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery, Sports Medicine, Foot and Ankle Trauma, Ankle Arthroscopy, Diabetic Wound Care and Limb Salvage.
Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area, Dr. Michael Daniel earned his Bachelor of Science degree from UC Davis in Biological Sciences with emphasis in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior. He then earned his Doctorate Degree in Podiatric Medicine from Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Daniel completed his foot and ankle surgical residency training at Ascension St. John Health System in Michigan, where he served as Chief Resident. He has worked with national leaders in Foot & Ankle Surgery and participated in multiple research projects. Dr. Daniel is extensively trained in all aspects of Foot & Ankle Reconstructive Surgery, Sports Injuries, and Limb Salvage. He has performed more than four times the required surgical case volume for residency training completion.
